It's all about happiness, I love to share my personal experiences and the new loving thing about pets that can help to make them more human friendly ( My best blog Dog shock collar) and the digital world where I am more focused on data-driven projects.
I love pets and most dogs, but when it comes to training I prefer not to use any of the new gadgets that most deliver shocks to dogs. Instead of that, I prefer to spend time with the dogs and teach them naturally from the puppyhood and it's quite an amazing job
I can realize that all of the dog owners do not have plenty of time that I have and cannot pay a hefty amount to traditional dog trainers so this is the reason they prefer to use small devices which somehow can be helpful for dog training. Nowadays a lot of people are depending on dog shock collar for behavioral training of dogs.
Yesterday during a morning walk I see a dog owner who was trying hard to teach his dog through a dog training collar but the dog was not getting his commands and every time shock makes him more aggressive. I stay there for some time and communicated three things to that owner
1. The first one is the dog cannot know what to perform it's you who need to act and tell your four-legged friend this act is required from you it will help the dog to perform the similar act, without doing it if you are communicating a verbal command and thinking that your dog will follow this command then its quite not possible. Teach yourself before teaching your dog.
2. use positive reinforcement like high-quality treats, it will help you to get the attention of your dog and also keep him motivated, in the end, he will follow your words.
3. Set specific command and for each action and every time use that commands.
4. Give your dog a chance to avoid the static correction this will push him to perform fast.
5. Keep the remote hidden because if dog associates you with the shock then it will negatively impact your relationship with the dog.
6. Become consistent in training.
Buying a right collar also matter a lot consider the size as well as the temperament of your dog before buying a collar, like do not buy a small option that provides weak stimulation for a stubborn and large dog and never get a large as well as stronger one for your small friend.
